Apparently, you have decided to fave something of mine. Thanks! :)
If I wouldn't be prying to do so, I'd like to ask you a couple of things. First off, how did you find my work in the first place? Secondly, what compelled you to fave it? I would be especially interested in the answer to that first question. :)
You're welcome :) I would be delighted to answer your questions.
For the first question, I believe I found your page through Sonic Sight's page. I decided to listen to some of your works and I really liked Rage of the Wolf. Secondly, I favourited it because it was a very original piece of music that I have heard. It was very catchy, upbeat and something that would be awesome for a video game. I hope that answered your questions.
. . . you discovered me through Sonic Sight??!?!?!?!!? If you found that guy's SA, what the heck are you doing on my SA? He's got, like, music, too! And his is, like, probably better than mine! Or maybe not! It's all probably a matter of opinion or something! Although his 100+ watchers can't all be wrong. . .
Since I kinda brought up the subject of what comments I tend to leave elsewhere, I suppose I should also mention what kinds of comments I enjoy receiving. Actually, I suppose it's about the same as the comments I give; I prefer any positive comment over a commentless fave. Other than that, I'm not terribly picky; even "this song rox lol!" gives me more insight than simply faving the work and saying nothing. Of course, a constructive comment which explains why the song "rox", or a constructive criticism which points out a sucky part of the song and suggests a possible improvement for future reference, can be even more useful. Nonetheless, I do not require every comment to be like that; just sincerely leave the best comment you can, and I'll most likely appreciate it. Admittedly, this was sort of my ulterior motive in asking you why you faved "Rage of the Wolf"; I find the answer you just gave to be quite satisfactory, so thank you! :)
I have listened to some of his music and yours too. I wish I could listen to more but with my dial-up connection I'd be going at it all day for just a handful of songs. I guess I should start commenting more on the works I fave although I'm not the greatest critiquer (if thats a word). I'm glad you liked my answer =) you're welcome
Yeah, having dial-up sucks, but then again, I suppose one should also count one's blessings that they can access the internet at all.
In any case, don't be shy about commenting on Sonic Sight's stuff, if you like it; with his 100+ watchers, and vast musical output, he's had tons of time to get LOTS of comments, and from his replies, he seems pretty grateful for all of them, even the simplest ones. Actually, he and I have become very good friends; I wish he'd sign on AIM more often, because he's TEH AWEXOME. Instead, I have to settle for posting in his journals and music and stuff. :(
But, yeah, in general, it might be a good idea to find out somebody's policy about what comments they will and will not accept before commenting. It's just a courtesy. I'll take what I get, but some people will frown about a simple "Congraturation!" as a HUGE waste of their time, so be safe, I suppose. :)
Yes, I should be glad I have internet access. I would be lost without it since I'm very much addicted to it. And I shall start to overcome my shyness and comment on his and others works. It is very cool that you have become friends with him. Its nice to have a friend that does the same type of art. You should metally, will him to come online. It works... sometimes. But if not, its good way for a laugh
